DDoS is stand for Distributed Denial of Service. Unlike any other hacker attack, DDoS attack if not
for identity theft or money, but it is for distributing specific website functionality. The main goal of the DDoS attack is to make a specific website unavailable for visitor and customer. Furthermore, the attack will denied the service that customer want which will make the owner of the website loose a lot of customers and money. Customers will be frustrated and worried about coming back to the website and its services.

The most common attack of the DDoS attack is to flood the business with requests of information that will create a wave of false traffic to the website to the point that the website will not be able to handle. The flow of false traffic will make the website slowdown and keep customer out of the service. With all the fake customer overrunning the website, the website will be unusable for real customer and their needs.

Law enforcement official takes DDoS attack seriously and work hard on tracking the leader of the hack. They usually track the leader of the hack by tracking their IP address but it is not always work.
