Online theft is growing as technology is advancing.
Scammer is usually good for tricking people for giving over their information without being aware by using fake email and website.
However, their is a couples easy things you could do to avoid identity theft:
1) When sign up for a website, make sure the site is secure websites with URLs begin with "https:" or a site that you sure it secure.
2) Make sure to have some personal firewall such as antivirus, antispyware, and antispam protection install.
3) Avoid clicking or opening links that are send for unknown sender.
4) Most importantly, use unique secure password for each site you visit. DO NOT use the same password for no more than one site.
5) Never send personal information such as Social Security numbers or
credit card numbers through email, messages or any social media.
6) Keep your web browsers up to date to avoid hacker.
